BOOK REVIEW!

I went to the library and my mom picked out a book for me called "My Extra Best Friend" by Julie Bowe. The book is about Ida's first time at a sleep away camp. Ida met some friends there and they became really good friends. Her friends are Stacey, Liz, Brooke, Joey and Quinn and a couple of other people who became friends. In the book they look 8 or 9 years old. Together they ate candy when they were not suppose to, they went fishing, made smores, roasted marshmallows, sang camp songs and they told ghost stories. When they went back home, they told their mother about it and they kept in contact after camp. They became Extra Best Friends.

I discovered that I like books with adventure, so this book would be good for kids that don't like adventure books and would like to learn about sleep away camps. This book is good for second and third graders.

Christmas Day

Merry Christmas! Let me tell you what I got for Christmas... a bow and arrow, a sewing machine, even a boom box with a Taylor Swift CD and a Beyoncé CD, I got a lot of stocking stuffers full of puzzles, pencils, markers and coloring sheets and other things too, a karaoke machine, and a Discovery computer. Why do we get presents on Jesus's birthday? I guess its like how we give a birthday boy or a birthday girl a present on their birthday. I do like getting presents on Christmas!

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve December 24, 2014, I went to my cousins house. It was so much fun. My uncle fried turkey and for dinner we ate mashed potatoes, corn with onions in it, salad, fried turkey and rolls. We opened up presents. One of my gifts was an "Ever After High" book, I also got an African shirt from my older cousin from California. It was a great day because I got to see part of my family.

Welcome Again!

Welcome again! I just love Christmas. I make the best activities. Maybe today I can make Santa. I will make Santa out of cotton balls and big colorful construction paper. I know that I will have a lot of presents on Christmas day because my mom is giving me one, so are my cousins, my dad, and also my aunt, and last but not least Santa...

Sometimes my mom does Mary Kay. She makes these cute little bags and she puts shower gel and things to help your body and decorates them as gifts for Christmas.

What I like about Christmas is that I get to see a lot of my family, we get to decorate the Christmas tree together and sometimes we decorate the outside of our house. Sometimes when it gets cold, my family makes hot chocolate which we call snowman soup! If it snows my little sister named Chloe and I will go outside and build a snowman and make snow angels.
